We Collect
In the course of providing the Hosted-FTP- Service to the
Customer, pursuant to our Terms of Service, Hosted-FTP- may Process
Customer Personal Data (PII) on behalf of the Customer as further
described below: Account information
We collect, and associate with your account only, the
information you provide to us when you do things such as sign up for
a trial account, upgrade to a paid plan, set up two-factor
authentication or provide billing address information. This
information includes your name, email address, phone number and
physical address. Personal Data (PII) that You provide
through the Services
We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily provide
such information such as when you contact us with inquiries through
our on-line chat services, support emails or phone calls to the
Sales & Support area. Collecting Email Addresses
We collect the email addresses of Hosted~FTP~ recipients and
senders for the purpose of emailing links for file transfers,
sending instructions for sharing files, inviting others to use the
Services, logging and measuring usage. If you do, we'll store this
contact information on our servers fully encrypted for you to use. Service
updates, maintenance and new feature communication
Hosted~FTP~ may use your email to send you information on
service updates and unplanned maintenance. If we do so, each
communication we send you will contain instructions permitting you
to "opt-out" of receiving future communications. In addition, if at
any time you wish not to receive any future communications or you
wish to have your name deleted from our mailing lists, please
contact us at support@hostedftp.com. Logging IP Addresses
For each visitor to our web page, our web server does not
recognize any information regarding the domain or email address. IP
addresses are logged and used by Hosted~FTP~ for measuring usage. IP
addresses are also collected for login and file transfer events to
provide required audit information to Customers. Ip addresses allow
the support area to investigate support issues and to diagnose and
resolve potential issues or security threats to our site or to the
Company.
By voluntarily providing us with Personal Data, you are
consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The Personal Information that you provide can be accessed at any
time through your account or you can contact our customer support at
support@hostedftp.com if you need help accessing your account.
Customer is solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of
Customer Personal Data provided to Hosted~FTP~. Use of
Cookies
Hosted~FTP~ uses cookies for session persistence as well as
login preferences Third-Party Payment Processor
We use a third-party payment processor to process credit card
payments made to Hosted~FTP~. Regarding any processing of such
payments, we do not store any personally identifiable information
(PII) or any financial information such as credit card numbers. All
such information is provided directly to our third party credit card
processor, Stripe, whose use of your personal information is
governed by their privacy policy, which can be viewed at https://stripe.com/us/privacy.
Our Use of Your Personal Data and Other Information
Hosted~FTP~ does not rent, sell, or share personal information
about you with non-affiliated companies.
Law & Order and the Public Interest. We may disclose your
information to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is
reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with any applicable law,
regulation, legal process, or appropriate government request; (b)
protect any person from death or serious bodily injury;
Stewardship of your data is critical to us and a
responsibility that we embrace. We believe that your data should
receive the same legal protections regardless of whether it's stored
on our Services or on your home computer's hard drive. Protection

Hosted~FTP~ is committed to securely gathering and storing

disclosure, alteration or destruction including:
- Encrypting all Personal Information and files when they are
stored at rest in the cloud data centers.
- Encrypting all Personal information, when using secure
protocols that have been correctly configured, during gathering and
transmission over the public Internet.
- Utilizing cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
technology that resides in the most secure, controlled environment
with controlled access.
- Maintaining a wide variety of industry standard compliance
and security programs and initiatives in order to stay up to date
on new security and privacy technology, process control and legal
advances and requirements.
